MEANS magazine seeks organizations and creatives working in the beleaguered grassroots scene to help us compile an overview of the vital work taking place to keep ground-level art alive.
We invite you to contribute info and artworks relating to your project, with a view to gathering a picture of the scene as it stands today, and get a sense of the approaches and methods that are being utilized to maintain its spirit, despite the economic challenges it faces.
❋ Promoters, galleries and venuesHow are live music venues weathering the closure of small venues? How are galleries rethinking their spaces to support grassroots art?
❋ Community forums and fundraisersHow are communities creating new spaces for art? How are funding models being reconsidered to better support small artists?
If you are involved in any way supporting grassroots art, music, or writing in the UK or beyond, we want to hear from you. MEANS will publish a feature documenting your work in out next physical magazine.
